Supported Services

We encourage you to purchase a monthly subscription plan to keep your PC healthy and secure. Our plans include Unlimited Remote Support* and data backup for your home or office. Please read the following information to better understand what IS and what IS NOT supported.

Minimum System Requirements:
We recommend Windows XP and a broadband internet connection. See our FAQ for more information about older operating systems.

What IS supported:

  • PC with Windows XP or Vista (desktop or laptop) - Diagnose and fix problems, keep your PC optimized, keep operating system and antivirus updates current, optimize security and offer software support (training not included).

  • Virus / Spyware – Set-up, update and support anti-spyware and anti-virus software

  • Digital devices – MP3 players / Cameras / PDA’s – Setup your players to download music, rip CD’s, transfer and print digital photos or get your PDA connected.

  • Backup / File Restore – Setup and support for automatic online backup and restoration. You can rest easy knowing that your documents, photos and music are safe and secure in the event of a disaster.

  • Software – Support for most major productivity suites (MS and WordPerfect Office, Adobe) and similar software.

What IS NOT supported:

  • Hardware – Any hardware replacement will be charged at our normal hourly rates

  • Printers & Scanners – Error messages and training will be charged on an hourly basis (Lil’ Bytes)

  • Router & Network Devices – Setup and support are offered in our pre-packaged plans

  • In-Home & Office Support are billed at our on-site rates**.

  • Training can be purchased on an hourly basis (Lil’ Bytes)

  • Software – we do not support accounting, financial, database, CAD/CAM or similar software.

* Unlimited Remote Support includes support for a single PC and specific issues listed above.

General Terms,
Customer's use of the Plan is governed by the Terms of Service. iBYTE Technologies reserves the right to terminate and/or change the terms of service at any time with thirty (30) days written notice.

**iBYTE Technologies also offers On-Site (in-home / office) support at a rate of $125 per hour. If you need in-home or office support our technicians are on-call and available in the Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. To request on-site service contact us and provide the best date and time for a visit.
